This elopement took place at Buttermilk Falls on a sunny, beautiful day...a Monday to be exact. During the ceremony, Brianna and Austin shared their personal vows to one another, exchanged rings, and celebrated with a kiss. With Ranger the Australian Shepherd leading the pack, they were soon off for pictures around the falls and ready to start their happily-ever-after.

A Uniquely Married Moment
As part of their ceremony customization, Maddie and Mike, did a first touch ceremony. A first touch replaces a first look, by allowing the couple to hold hands, share their written promises privately yet still keep the beautiful tradition of allowing the groom to see the bride for the first time as she walks down the aisle. Maddie and Mike knew this to be an important part of their day.

As part of their ceremony customization, Anna and Michael chose a reading which was a quote from Sir Hugh Walpole. In part it read, the "inner progressiveness of love between two human beings is a most marvelous thing; it cannot be found by looking for it or by passionately wishing for it. It is a sort of divine accident and the most wonderful of all things in life.

A Uniquely Married Moment
A customized wedding that blended Judaic and Greek Orthodox traditions was important to both Harry and Franny and served as a powerful reminder that love knows no boundaries and transcends all differences. A small history of each tradition was provided to their guests so that they could understand the significance of each ritual during the celebration.

Happily married on Leap Year, February 29, 2024, this elopement was celebrated in our small wedding chapel accompanied only by the photographer. To quote our ceremony, it was "a celebration of love, of friendship, of commitment, and of two people who are in it forever."
