After Joseph and Amanda unlocked and removed their rings, they hooked the two locks together and snapped them closed. Later that evening, Jerick hid the keys under two guests' dinner plates. Those guests were then responsible for taking home the locks and discarding the keys, forever sealing the newly married couple's lifelong bond.
