However, they chose a meaningful departure from tradition: they did not blow out their individual tapers. By keeping all three candles burning brightly, this choice symbolized that marriage strengthens a relationship without erasing individuality. A few light sprinkles teased the gathering, but the ceremony concluded just as guests moved inside. The timing was impeccable; as the torrential downpour finally arrived, we had successfully preserved the couple’s dream of a beautiful "I do" overlooking the serene Lingrow Farm Pond.
